Jayonti works for a producer group in Bangladesh. She makes paper star ornaments and gift cards. When we visited with her recently, she was busy making a tree card with a paper quilling technique. She is very good at it.
Jayonti’s favourite products to make are the stars. They were the first items she learnt to make. She now makes a wide variety of stars using different patterns and techniques. She is very proud that her products are sold overseas.

Jayonti has been working with this producer group for the past 23 years. Since starting the job, Jayonti’s life has significantly improved.
She has been able to put both of her children through school and has build a new house for her family through the money she makes.
Jayonti has two children, who she supported to successfully graduate from secondary school and are now doing further studies. One is studying nursing and one is doing a diploma. Jayonti is very happy about the future she has given to her children. All thanks to people like you!
